Let's Go Out

Let's go out and play in sand
Make some memories
In this unknown land
Sail on boat and touch the sky
Soak in sun as birds fly by
Dive into the blue
View the mystic hue

Let's go out and feel the balmy shore
Cry out loud from deep within the core
Surrender to eternity
For a minute or two
Find your existence
And detach yourself
From the worldly glue

  1. I love the flow of this poem - like waves themselves and how very good to surrender and go outside ourselves - perhaps it helps see things anew..

  2. that last line is what gives the rest a sense of daring do so well chartered in the poet's spontaneity p.s. we have both chosen a marine theme

  4. Nice! Sometimes we do have to go out from where we are, detach ourselves a bit, gain a new perspective, in order to find our own existence.
