Wild Ents

Rumbling winter storm –

Ents are dancing with their wives –

ancient limbs entwined

(~ Paloma)

I join in their wild dance

around the embers warm

Drenched

drenched in rain

we kissed each other

abating the pain

that did not matter

locked in arms

the shower-cloud smiled

we make rainbows

that stretch across miles

PS: This is my first poem written in collaboration with my husband :-)
